The Century Diamondbacks lost against the Highland Rams two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Century fell 38-28 to Highland.
Despite the loss, Century still got an impressive performance from Chinelo Njoku, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Those 11 points set a new season-high mark for her.
Century bumped their record down to 2-6 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Highland, their victory ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-7.
Century will head out on the road to face off against Twin Falls at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Twin Falls is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. As for Highland, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bonneville at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Idaho (Bonneville is ranked 100th, while Highland is ranked 117th).
