Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for South

South had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against the Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy Royals by a score of 2-0.

South easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-21.

Maisie Nawrocki paced South's offense, picking up eight kills. Nawrocki got some help from Milli Ellis and her 13 assists. Ava Majstorovic controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

South's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Looking ahead, South will challenge McKinley at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Copley on the 23rd.
