The Lancaster Legends will head out on the road to face off against the Niagara Falls Wolverines at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lancaster is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.9 runs per game this season.
Last Saturday, Lancaster made easy work of Niagara-Wheatfield and carried off a 14-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Legends, who have now won seven matchups by 11 runs or more so far this season.

Alyssa Brunner made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Lancaster got a massive performance out of Brennah DeWald, who went 3-for-6 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. That's the most stolen bases DeWald has posted over her last 12 contests. Lily Kuzara was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Lancaster was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .395. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Niagara Falls had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They walked away with a 7-3 victory over the Red & Green.
Lancaster is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.5 runs over those games. As for Niagara Falls, their record now sits at 10-6.
Lancaster beat Niagara Falls 5-2 when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Do the Legends have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wolverines turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
