After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Ooltewah, Harriman was happy to have turned things around  on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  13-11  victory over the Greenback Cherokees. The Blue Devils' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
 Tatum Henderson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She  tossed seven innings while giving up just two earned  (and eight unearned) runs off   11  hits. Those  hits were  her first of the season. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-5 with one  stolen base, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  McKenzie Smith was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with three  runs, one  triple,  and one  double.  Ansley Moore was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 3-for-5.
 Harriman  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 12  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least 11  hits in three consecutive  games.
Harriman's record now sits at 2-4. As for Greenback,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 1-3.
 Harriman wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  match,  a  9-3  defeat against Lenoir City on the 27th. As for Greenback, they also  didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  10-0  loss against Knoxville Central on the 26th.
