The Elkhorn Antlers waltzed into Friday's game with two straight wins but they left with three. They came out on top against Norris by a score of 64-54. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Elkhorn also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Elkhorn got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Cole Petersen out in front who scored 14 points along with 9 rebounds and 5 blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Colin Comstock, who scored 12 points.
Elkhorn's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Norris, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-1.
Elkhorn will be playing in front of their home fans against York at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully York focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Saturday. As for Norris, they will head out on the road to face off against Mount Michael Benedictine on Tuesday. Mount Michael Benedictine will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Nebraska Rankings (they are ranked 60th, while Norris is ranked 11th).
