After two weeks on the road, Teurlings Catholic is heading back home. On Friday they will take on Northside at 7:00 PM. Teurlings Catholic are the favorites in this one -- although they were the favorites in their last matchup, too, so the odds might count for a little less.
It was a hard-fought contest, but Teurlings Catholic had to settle for a 28-42 loss against Westgate last Friday. Teurlings Catholic's loss came about despite a quality game from senior Landon Trosclair, who rushed for 200 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Northside, and their match last Friday only extended their streak of losses to six. They took a serious blow against St. Thomas More, falling 12-63. Northside were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-35.
Teurlings Catholic took their game against Northside the last time the two teams met by a conclusive 42-13 score. Will Teurlings Catholic repeat their success, or does Northside have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
