Softball Recap: Alexander Has No Trouble Against Elba

Alexander won the last time they faced Elba and things went their way on Thursday too. The Trojans put the hurt on the Lancers with a sharp 13-5 win.

Ella Felski was incredible, going 2-for-5 with five RBI, three runs, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Emily Pietrzykowski, who went 2-for-5 with one triple, one run, and one double.

Alexander now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Elba, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Alexander is set to square off against their familiar foe Oakfield-Alabama at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Elba will take on rival Pembroke at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
