1A District 2 recap September 17, 2013
Sioux Central scaled the state rankings by moving to 106 from 133 this week, the biggest jump in 1A District 2. The Rebels were able to make move up by defeating Pocahontas 35-7.
St. Edmond took down Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto 41-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Ridge View takes on Sioux Central. The Raptors are currently in second, while Travis Schueller's team is in third.
Ridge View made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 4,713 from 5,911. The improvement came about via a 30-28 victory over Northwest Webster last week.
