Mariemont's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They came out on top against the Clermont Northeastern Rockets by a score of 11-1 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won seven contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Mariemont has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games. As for Clermont Northeastern, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-8.

Coming up, Mariemont will venture away from home to face off against Indian Hill at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Braves will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight. As for Clermont Northeastern, they will be playing at home against Hillsboro at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
