League recap: Manti extends winning streak with victory over Beaver

Manti extended the longest winning streak in 2A - North this week by beating Beaver, 38-7. The victory was the ninth in a row for the Templars.

Manti led the league in scoring this week after putting up 38 points on the Beavers.

6-foot-1 quarterback Connor Aste of Cole Meacham's team is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1170. He has also thrown eight touchdowns. On the ground, Millard's Jesse Rhodes has rushed for 1710 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Lafe Christensen. The Gunnison Valley star has 28 catches for 597 yards.
