Vision extended their losing streak to three on Monday, dropping them down to 1-6. They came up short against the New Plymouth Pilgrims, falling 13-5. If Vision was looking for revenge after losing 10-1 to New Plymouth when the teams met back in May of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Payton Williams was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Williams is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season. Kannon Koberlein was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.
As for New Plymouth, their win ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-7. Considering they have won five contests by more than seven runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
On New Plymouth's side, Bradin Padgett and Ashton Robinson made a big impact no matter where they played. Throwing, Padgett pitched five innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits. Meanwhile, Robinson pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2025. At bat, Padgett went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double, while Robinson went 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Robinson is becoming a predictor of New Plymouth's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 0-7 when he doesn't).
In other batting news, Jett Williams was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those two hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Eli Meckert, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Vision didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 14-4 loss against Marsing on the 8th. As for New Plymouth, they have also already played their next matchup, a 17-3 defeat against Melba on the 8th.
