The South Central Satellites won the last time they faced the Kouts Mustangs & Fillies , and things went their way on Thursday too. South Central walked away with a 54-45 win over Kouts. The win made it back-to-back wins for South Central.
South Central was led to victory by Hope Welsh and Sadie Marks. Welsh scored 20 points along with 5 rebounds, while Marks scored 19 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals. The match was Marks' ninth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lexi Johnson, who scored 7 points along with 5 rebounds.
South Central has yet to lose a match on the road this season, leaving them with a 6-3 record. As for Kouts, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Central will challenge Morgan Township at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Morgan Township focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 28 on Tuesday. As for Kouts, they will head out on the road to face off against Westville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
