Conway fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Berkeley on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Stags by a score of 2-1. The Tigers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Conway saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Will Neff, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Conway's loss dropped their record down to 16-13. As for Berkeley, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-10.

Looking ahead, Conway will head out on the road to challenge North Myrtle Beach at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Chiefs' pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so the Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Berkeley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
