The Casa Roble Rams will head out to take on the Roseville Tigers at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Casa Roble is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.
Casa Roble managed to slip by West Park the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Rams came up short against the Panthers on Tuesday, falling 11-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Rams have suffered since March 4, 2025.
Casa Roble saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gianna Giannini, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Roseville). They blew past Lincoln 16-5 on Wednesday. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Fighting Zebras: they've now won four in a row.
Isabella Senini looked comfortable as she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
At the plate, Alyssa West and Kayla Robles did most of the damage at the plate: West went 3-for-4 with four runs, three RBI, and one triple, while Robles got on base in all five of her plate appearances with four runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. Those four runs gave Robles a new career-high. Makena Kelly was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI.
Roseville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .564. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
The win got Roseville back to even at 2-2. As for Casa Roble, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.
Casa Roble came out on top in a nail-biter against Roseville in their previous meeting back in April of 2019, sneaking past 2-1. Do the Rams have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
