Mundy's Mill's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They put the hurt on Banneker with a sharp 10-0 victory. Mundy's Mill haven't had any issues with Banneker recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Mundy's Mill's offense was hitting Banneker from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Mariah Cooper led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Jonesboro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 10-0 to Northside. While losing is never fun, Jonesboro can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 327th, while Northside are ranked 61st).

Jonesboro's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Mundy's Mill, their victory bumped their record up to 9-3.
