Franklin took care of business in their home opener. They put the hurt on Mascoma with a sharp 27-6 victory. Franklin were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast. This was the first game for both teams, giving Franklin a 1-0 record and starting Mascoma off at 0-1.
Next week Franklin take on Farmington/Nute at 2:00 PM. Mascoma will be staying on the road, facing off against Bishop Brady.
