Cedar Grove-Belgium barely beat New Holstein the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Rockets blew past the Huskies 9-2 on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Rockets, who have now won ten games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Ira Hilbelink made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits (and only one walk). Hilbelink was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Griffin Knight, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. Seth Race was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs.

Cedar Grove-Belgium hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in six consecutive matchups.

Cedar Grove-Belgium's win bumped their record up to 16-3. As for New Holstein, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-11.
