Shadow Hills lost to Palm Springs on the road by a decisive 60-46 margin. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Shadow Hills in their matchups with Palm Springs: they've now lost four in a row.
Several Knights players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Edward Escobar, who scored 13 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Escobar has scored all season. Derick Silva was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Shadow Hills has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season. As for Palm Springs, the victory (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 23-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shadow Hills will take on Xavier Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Xavier Prep is no doubt hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses. As for Palm Springs, they will be playing at home against La Quinta at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. La Quinta has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 27.
