The Spackenkill Spartans lost a heartbreaker when they last took the court, but unfortunately for them the defeat they were handed on on Wednesday was a bit more commanding. They were beaten by Red Hook 58-24. Spackenkill has not had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Despite the loss, Spackenkill still got an impressive performance from Blythe Mcquade, who scored 11 points.
Spackenkill's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-6. As for Red Hook, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Spackenkill will be playing at home against the Blazers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Millbrook is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Red Hook, they will head out on the road to challenge the Ganders at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Rondout Valley will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New York Rankings (they are ranked 373rd, while the Raiders are ranked 172nd).
