Basketball Recap: Wooster Christian Beats Reimer Road Baptist Christian for Their Second Straight Win

Wooster Christian won the last time they faced Reimer Road Baptist Christian and CJ Stoltzfus did his part to make sure it happened again. The Eagles claimed a resounding 69-35 victory over the Golden Eagles with plenty of help from Stoltzfus, who shot 70% from the field en route to 17 points in addition to five boards and three steals. He is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 40% in the last four games he's played.

Benji Schrock was another key player, putting up seven points. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 45.5% shooting accuracy.

When it comes to explaining why Reimer Road Baptist Christian lost on Tuesday, don't look at Kellan Burke. Despite the final result, he went 7-for-15 on his way to 17 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Cody Stafinski also deserves some recognition as he scored his first points of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Wooster Christian and bumps their season record up to 6-2. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.5 points over those games. As for Reimer Road Baptist Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, Wooster Christian will square off against Temple Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Reimer Road Baptist Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 39-36 win against Christian Community on the 4th.
