The Orange Park Raiders will challenge the Tocoi Creek Toros at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Orange Park will be strutting in after a win while Tocoi Creek will be coming in after a defeat.
While Orange Park's victory against Stanton wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Orange Park won by a run and slipped past Stanton 6-5.

Orange Park got a great performance from John Nyberg as he didn't allow a single earned run over 5.2 innings pitched. Nyberg also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Orange Park is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 5-13 otherwise.
At the plate, Jack Bejarano was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. He is becoming a predictor of Orange Park's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 3-14 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Nehemiah Stephenson, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.
Orange Park was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .381. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Tocoi Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Trinity Christian Academy. That's two games in a row now that the Toros have lost by exactly five runs.
Tocoi Creek also got a good showing from Bryson Williams, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Williams has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Tocoi Creek saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Sizemore, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.
Tocoi Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Orange Park, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-14.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Orange Park has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.4 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Tocoi Creek struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.2 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Orange Park came out on top in a nail-biter against Tocoi Creek in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, sneaking past 7-5. Will Orange Park repeat their success, or does Tocoi Creek has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
