That result was just more of the same for these two, as Lakeside Lutheran also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Lakeside Lutheran's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Paige Murphy, who scored 24 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. The matchup was Murphy's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nadia Murphy, who scored 17 points.
Lakeside Lutheran's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-5. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game. As for Jefferson, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season.
