Capistrano Valley had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 7-34 punch to the gut against Tustin on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Pacifica couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a 14-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of Trabuco Hills.
