Maddie Simms gave up the fewest walks she has since back in May of 2024 on Thursday. She made a splash, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Considering she played a big game the last time she faced off against Momence back in April of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Simms has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
