Tri-County recap November 5, 2013
Clinton added to the longest winning streak in Tri-County this week by beating Whitmore Lake, 42-6. The victory was the 10th in a row for the Redskins.
Britton-Macon/Deerfield scaled the state rankings by moving to 162 from 194 this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Patriots climbed the ranks as a result of topping Hudson 42-28.
Mathew Sexton was the best wideout in the league this week as Clinton beat the Trojans. Sexton racked up 1 reception for 61 yards. Dylan Spurlock helped Clinton's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 27 yards.
Scott Mcnitt's team's TJ Baker and Sexton led Tri-County in both passing and receiving yards. Baker has thrown for 1,583 yards this season, while Sexton has 26 catches for 864 yards. Britton-Macon/Deerfield's Leighton Merritt leads the league in rushing yards with 1,573.
Whiteford took down Parkway Christian 59-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
