PikeView is 0-6 against Nicholas County since October of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The PikeView Panthers will take on the Nicholas County Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. PikeView is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
Last Friday, PikeView took a serious blow against River View, falling 55-26.
Meanwhile, Nicholas County ended up a good deal behind James Monroe on Friday and lost 28-12. Nicholas County has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
PikeView's loss was their fifth straight at home (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 0-9. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 9.2 points per game. As for Nicholas County, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
PikeView was dealt a bruising 58-0 defeat at the hands of Nicholas County in their previous meeting back in November of 2022. Can PikeView avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
