The Conway Wampus Cats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their eighth straight loss. They were beaten by Bryant 72-37. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Conway has scored all season.
Bryant found their leader in underclassman Camarion Bead, who scored 23 points along with six rebounds and five assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bead has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Kellen Robinson, who scored 17 points along with seven assists.
Conway has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost ten of their last 11 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. As for Bryant, the win was the 21st in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-2.
Conway will be playing at home against Little Rock Southwest at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Little Rock Southwest is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Bryant, they will head out on the road to square off against Jonesboro at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
