Lutheran Northwest's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was JJ Helmer, who rushed for 97 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, and also threw for 24 yards and a touchdown. Another player making a difference was Aiden Spiehs, who gained 114 total yards and two touchdowns.
Advanced Tech Academy's defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 1-7. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 8.8 points per game.
