The win continues a trend for the Lakers in their matchups with the Bishops: they've now won nine in a row.

Fairfield Christian Academy typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Grove City Christian proved too difficult a challenge. They blew past the Knights 3-0. The game was the first time the Eagles have beaten the Knights on their court since September 14, 2021.
Grove City Christian never let Fairfield Christian Academy on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-17, 25-20.
Millersport better keep an eye on Axia Yoakum. She was instrumental in Grove City Christian's win, getting four digs and three aces. That's the most aces Yoakum has posted since back in October of 2024. Sophie Dove also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.
Grove City Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 27 consecutive matches dating back to last season.
Millersport now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Grove City Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 15-6.
Millersport beat Grove City Christian 3-1 when the teams last played back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lakers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
