The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Rhode Island (Blackstone Valley Prep is ranked 38th, while Central is ranked 46th).
Last Friday, Blackstone Valley Prep was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 32-27 to Hope.
Meanwhile, Central came up short against Providence Country Day on Friday and fell 31-19.
Blackstone Valley Prep's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Central, their loss was their 14th straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-8.
Everything went Blackstone Valley Prep's way against Central in their previous meeting on January 4th as Blackstone Valley Prep made off with a 35-13 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Blackstone Valley Prep since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
