Northwestern won the last time they faced Amery and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Tigers came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Shelby Hessel paced Northwestern's offense, picking up six kills. Hessel got some help from Finley Peterson and her nine assists. Hessel was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Northwestern's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Amery, they are on a 22-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Coming up, Northwestern will head out to challenge Rice Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Amery has already played their next contest (against Clear Lake), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
