Gonzales had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past the Calhoun Sandcrabs 52-30 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Apaches have posted since December 5th.

Calhoun's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Farrah Garcia, who posted 11 points, and Jai'Lynn Boots, who earned seven points.

Gonzales' win bumped their record up to 12-14. As for Calhoun, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-15.

Gonzales will venture away from home to square off against Smithville at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Calhoun will take on Victoria East in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
