It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Tate had no problem doing just that on Thursday. Everything went their way against the First Coast Buccaneers as they made off with a 35-14 win. The result was nothing new for the Aggies, who have now won four contests by 20 points or more so far this season.
Tate's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Laquarius Bradford, who rushed for 119 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 11 carries. Bradford got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 67 yards. Tanner Clark was another key back, rushing for 140 yards and two scores.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Tate was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 321 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
