The Providence Pioneers won the last time they faced the Christian Academy Warriors, and things went their way  on Tuesday too. Providence strolled past Christian Academy with  points to spare, taking the game  54-40.
 Providence was led to victory by  Avery  Smith and  Addison Smith.  Smith  scored 8 points along with 9  rebounds and 4  steals, while  Smith  scored 13 points along with 5  rebounds and 3  steals. Smith is absolutely dominating the  steal category: she's  posted at least two every time she's  taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Livy  Theobald, who  scored 7 points.
 Despite the  loss, Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up:  Addison Jackson  scored 18 points along with 8  rebounds. The  game was  Jackson's third in a row with at least ten points.  Alexus Bryant was another key contributor,  scoring 11 points along with 5  rebounds.
 The  victory  got Providence back to even at 2-2. As for Christian Academy, they have yet to win a  contest at home this season, leaving them with a 2-6 record.
 Providence will head out on the road to face off against Eastern at 7:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Eastern is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home court  on Saturday against Switzerland County at 1:30  p.m.
