It's playoff time, and Norwich Free Academy had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Wilton Warriors 13-0 on Monday. Considering the Wildcats have won 14 matchups by more than five  runs this season, Monday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Dakota Bourdon made a splash while hitting and pitching. She  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only  one  hit over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with three  RBI and two  runs. That's the most  runs  she has posted since back in April.
 In other batting news,  Brooke Stringer was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with one  home run and three  RBI.  Olivia Bourdon was another key player,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with two  runs and two  RBI.
 Norwich Free Academy  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 12  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least 12  hits in three consecutive  contests.
Norwich Free Academy's record is now 18-5. As for Wilton, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-13.
 Coming up, Norwich Free Academy will head out on the road to  square off against  Darien  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The last four games the Blue Wave have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Wilton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
