McKinney Boyd made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Plano East, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Everything went McKinney Boyd's way against Plano East on Tuesday as McKinney Boyd made off with a 17-6 win. Considering the Broncos have won eight contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Madison Treadwell made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched 6.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.
In other batting news, Addyson Lewis was a standout: she scored four runs and stole Four bases. while going 2-for-4. That's the most stolen bases she has posted over her last 16 games. Beckham Manley was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.
McKinney Boyd kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Rock Hill came up short against Prosper on Monday and fell 9-5.
Aliyana Sanchez made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two runs and one triple. That triple marked the first that she hit this season.
McKinney Boyd's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 10-7. As for Rock Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.
Saturday's match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. McKinney Boyd hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .360. However, it's not like Rock Hill struggles in that department as they've averaged .336. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
