The Academy with Community Partners Lions will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against the Harvest Prep Academy Eagle at 6:00 p.m. on January 16th. Harvest Prep Academy took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Academy with Community Partners, who comes in off a win.
After only 21 points in their last contest, Academy with Community Partners made sure to put some points up on the board against 91st Psalm Christian School on Tuesday. Academy with Community Partners came out on top against 91st Psalm Christian School by a score of 55-48.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 65 points the game before, Harvest Prep Academy were a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They were the victim of a tough 46-23 defeat at the hands of 91st Psalm Christian School.
The losing side was boosted by Leo Cordova, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and three steals. That was a full 60.9% of Harvest Prep Academy's points, marking the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Academy with Community Partners' victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Harvest Prep Academy, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-4.
