Glenn is 3-0 against Argos since January of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Glenn Falcons will be playing at home against the Argos Dragons at 8:00 p.m. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Glenn had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 45-44 win over Triton.
Glenn's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Joey Shoue led the charge by scoring 16 points along with seven rebounds and two blocks. That's the first time this season that Shoue scored 15 or more points. Joe Chrapliwy was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with eight rebounds and five steals.
Meanwhile, Argos didn't have too much trouble with North Miami on the road on Tuesday as they won 60-44.
Glenn is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season. As for Argos, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.
Glenn skirted past Argos 39-36 when the teams last played back in January of 2019. Will Glenn repeat their success, or does Argos have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
