At the plate, Sabetha got a massive performance out of Regan Hasenkamp, who went 4-for-5 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple. Those four hits gave Hasenkamp a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kiera Keim, who went 2-for-3 with four stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.

The victory made it two in a row for Sabetha and bumps their season record up to 5-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs in those games. As for St. Marys, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Sabetha is headed away from home for the first time to challenge Holton at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Marys, they will head out to square off against Santa Fe Trail at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
