Volleyball Recap: Mount Academy Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Mount Academy had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Roosevelt Presidents. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Presidents, too.

Mount Academy's offense was headlined by Gina O'Connell and Meghan Hofer, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Marion Winter and her 17 assists. Kayla Paul controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Mount Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Coincidentally, Mount Academy and Roosevelt will both be playing Wallkill the next time they take the court. The Eagles will head out to face the Panthers at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Presidents will head out to face them at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
