The Southeast of Saline Trojans extended their postseason success on Friday against the Kingman Eagles. Southeast of Saline walked away with a 36-28 win over Kingman. The victory was just business as usual for Southeast of Saline, who after ten games remain undefeated this season.
Leading Southeast of Saline to victory were Daniel Kejr and Nathan Friesen. Kejr rushed for 99 yards and a touchdown, while Friesen rushed for 128 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries. Friesen was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 58 yards. Cameron Witte was another key contributor, picking up 79 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Another reason for the win was Southeast of Saline's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. Kingman's QB won't forget Deacon Baier anytime soon given Baier sacked him twice.
Southeast of Saline's victory bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Kingman, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.
Southeast of Saline will take on Hoisington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hoisington will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line. Kingman does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
