The Westside Rams had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 45-37 victory over Boiling Springs on Friday. The win was just what Westside needed coming off of a 59-35 defeat in their prior matchup.
Westside's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Zeke Marshall, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Keemaj Clinkscales, who scored 11 points.
Westside's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-4. As for Boiling Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.
Westside will be home for the holidays to greet Winter Haven at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Winter Haven is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games. As for Boiling Springs, they will head out on the road to face off against Hillcrest at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
