Mathew Zuniga Game Report: vs Santa Rosa

Sadly, Mathew Zuniga posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Progreso over Santa Rosa on Friday. Zuniga went 10 of 18 en route to 25 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. The effort marked the most points he has had since back in November of 2024. He has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times he's played.

Zuniga will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Raymondville on Monday. Zuniga will face off against Joshua Tamez on Monday, the Bearkats' star point guard. With so much talent on the court, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
