Softball Recap: First State Military Academy Comes Up Short

First State Military Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 18-1 to the Sussex Academy Seahawks. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Seahawks when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

First State Military Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Sussex Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

First State Military Academy has already played their next game, a 10-0 defeat against Conrad Science on the 25th. As for Sussex Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 8-5 loss against St. Mark's on the 26th.
