The Piqua Indians's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They fell 43-34 to West Carrollton. Piqua lost against West Carrollton in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 52-47 score last time.
Drake Owen was Piqua's leading scorer, having posted eight points.
Isaiah Martin held things down on the boards with seven rebounds.
Piqua bumped their record down to 1-3 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for West Carrollton, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Piqua will be home for the holidays to greet Fairborn at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for West Carrollton, they will head out on the road to face off against Sidney at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Sidney will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
