The Northside Christian Warriors will head out on the road to face off against Westminster Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Even though Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy scored an imposing 62 points on Tuesday, Northside Christian still came out on top. Northside Christian managed a 66-62 victory over Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Northside Christian.
Meanwhile, Westminster Christian Academy earned a 56-46 win over Pine Prairie on Tuesday. The victory was just what Westminster Christian Academy needed coming off of a 78-42 defeat in their prior contest.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Westminster Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tyler Spraggins, who scored 23 points. Another player making a difference was Zade Prejean, who scored 15 points.
Northside Christian's victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-5. As for Westminster Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
Northside Christian beat Westminster Christian Academy 63-51 in their previous meeting back in November. The rematch might be a little tougher for Northside Christian since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
