The Lewis Cass Kings had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.7 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They beat Delphi Community by the very same score they won with last week: 32-13. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Lewis Cass also won the last time the pair played on Friday.
Lewis Cass can attribute much of their success to Trevor Rowe, who rushed for 164 yards and a touchdown. Rowe is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Cooper Frey, who gained 99 total yards and a touchdown.
Lewis Cass' victory was their seventh straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 7-5. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 1-9 Whitko and 2-9 North Miami (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 33.8% over those games). As for Delphi Community, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-7.
Lewis Cass has the luxury of staying home another week and will welcome Seeger at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Indiana (Seeger is ranked 192nd, while Lewis Cass is ranked 197th). Delphi Community does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
