Softball Recap: Seabreeze Wins Going Away Against Father Lopez

After only one run in their last game, Seabreeze made sure to put some runs up on the board against Father Lopez on Thursday. Seabreeze was the clear victor by a 20-4 margin over Father Lopez. The result was nothing new for the Sandcrabs, who have now won seven matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Ella Hardy made a big impact no matter where she played. She pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Hardy was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two RBI.

In other batting news, Kyra McLin was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing four bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last ten games she's played. Addison Montalvo was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Seabreeze's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Father Lopez, their loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-7.

Seabreeze has already played their next contest, a 16-1 win against Titusville on the 28th. Father Lopez has also already played their next game (against Crescent City), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
