Northview has gone 8-2 against Edgewood recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Knights will host the Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. This will be Northview's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
Northview is headed into the match having just suffered their biggest loss since August 20th on Wednesday. They lost 3-0 to Bloomington South.
While Northview was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-22, 25-15.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Brinley Deakins, who had 16 digs and three assists. She has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last seven times she's played. Another player making a difference was Addi Dehart, who had five digs and two aces.
Edgewood had taken Bedford North Lawrence down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Monday. The Mustangs fell just short of the Stars by a score of 3-2.
Edgewood actually scored more points across those five sets (114-102), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 19-25, 28-26, 12-25, 18-16.
Edgewood's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-2. As for Northview, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.
Everything went Northview's way against Edgewood when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Northview made off with a 3-0 victory. Do the Knights have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mustangs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
