Canton was led to victory by Devon Pettus and Bradley Eziuka. Pettus scored 15 points along with six assists and six rebounds, while Eziuka scored 21 points. The game was Eziuka's ninth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Caleb Williams, who scored seven points.
Canton's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Novi, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Canton will take on Salem at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Salem is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. As for Novi, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Northville at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Northville has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 257 points over their last four contests.
